I had the chance to visit the city of Montréal on two occasions, once in summer and the other in winter.  These opposing seasons offered varying photographic opportunities.

Experiencing Montréal in the winter was such a special experience for me, because I normally don't encounter that level of cold where I live.  It was great to be out of my element and to look and think about things differently.
